We learned this afternoon that the results of the MRI done late last week indicate that some additional biopsies need to be done before Mom has surgery. Accordingly, the lumpectomy, which was tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed. This is disappointing, because Mom is anxious to get it over with. However, we certainly want to make sure they remove everything that is necessary. Hopefully, they will have the results of both biopsies by the end of this week or the beginning of next week, so that she may be placed on next Wednesday's surgery schedule (for whatever it is they end up deciding to remove).
The course of radiation will not begin until at least three weeks after the surgery.
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement and for your prayers.
-Jennifer

Cindy and Ron,
Tom and I are certainly remembering you in prayer. Cindy I am going to put you on our ASK list at BSF as well.
Glad that Jo sent us this link.
Love, Shirley and Tom
We are praying for all of you just as your family did when we received similar news about Mom years ago. Know that your heavenly Father's arms are wrapped around you - holding you tight. I am going to put you on our prayer list here at work - Prison Fellowship. Everyone on our staff all over the nation will lift you up in prayer! We love you!

We, too, are frequently lifting Cindy to the Lord in prayer as she goes through the unpleasant tests, biopsies and times of waiting. Remember that we serve a wonderful God and believe His faithfulness will be proven to you through this time of difficulty. We care deeply for you and are here to help in anyway we can.
Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for God who promised is faithful."
In Christ's love,
Merv & Paula Quastad
We are praying for you here at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je.

Cindy (and Ron),
I was disappointed, as I'm sure you were too, when I heard that you did not get to have your surgery as had been planned. I know that you're wanting to get this thing over.
Please know that both of you are on my prayer list. We've had such great times together. I'm just sad that even though we live relatively close, we still don't get together. Our lives are too busy.
I'm thankful for this blog site so that we can keep up with what is happening with you.
Thank you for your faithful testimony on the blog site. I love the scripture verses you have quoted there. I read recently that Elisabeth Eliot was invited to tea with Corrie ten Boom. Elisabeth asked her how to prepare for sorrow and difficulties. Corrie's answer: "soak in the Word." I know that's where your strength is coming from these days.
Much love to you all.
Alice (and Gordon)
We are definitely remembering you and your whole family in our prayers.
